Succasunna Cinema 10 is showing Ghostbusters multiple times next month.

Ghostbusters will be shown as part of Clearview Classics. As such Ghostbusters International® and Ghostbusters-NJ would like to have a franchise gathering.

We'll most likely attend either the Friday or Saturday showing. More details to come.

For those further away from the town, I had an idea (my trip is a day's worth of driving).

So, I was thinking that, for anyone that wants to go to the screening, but would have nowhere else to stay but a hotel, communicate with others, and we could all get one? (or two, if people don't feel comfortable sleeping in the same room with someone of the opposite gender)

This, could enable other people to go that wanted to, but couldn't afford the burn in their wallet that a hotel leaves. Thus, we can all split the cost, and maybe even stay in a nicer hotel!

If this shouldn't be here, feel free to move it, mods.

The screening Ghostbusters International® and Ghostbusters-NJ will be going to in hopes of having a franchise gathering will take place on Friday, June 15, 2007. The screening begins at 10:00 PM. Tickets only cost $5.00 USD. If you need directons or other details about the theater, check out Succasunna Cinema 10 website.

More details about when we'll meet up at the theater will be announced. Until then further discussion about the screenings are taking place here. (As in this thread.)

For those who are going, would you like to meet up before the actual screening? It is a ride for some of us and others if they're coming from out of the area (or state). I was thinking in general we could meet up between 7-8 PM. Maybe earlier if we can and maybe want to get something to eat. Those are just a couple of ideas. What do you think?

Dr. M Bobola: Your idea isn't bad at all, I anticipated people might come from out of state, you might be coming the furthest for it. I know there are hotels in the area, they might be more expensive. I know there are discount websites though. If their aren't enough people who need a hotel or want to room up, you might save some money by staying outside the area. About 10-12 miles away.

If you're looking to stay at a nice hotel, I'm pretty sure they're not too far from the theater.

With the gathering supposed to be planned for Friday night, I'm trying to get an idea (from the forums) if more then a few people will be going. If you're on the forums and are able to make it Friday evening/night, please let us know. Try to let us know by or on Thursday. Thanks.

What I didn't elaborate on, on the other forums is that if their is lack of interest (understandable for sure) about a gathering for a screening for Friday night, maybe the timing is off. If the timing is ever right. Hopefully no matter when people go to the screenings, this theater or others will show either films later this year.

I'll be posting about the screening today when I can. And posting links to the forums we're usually on.
