The Valek Case

Postby Lord Valek » February 24th, 2006, 9:42 pm

Greetings GBI...

You may wonder who I am and I assure you, none of you need concern yourselves with this fact. I have no intention of interfering with your workings and dealings in this company. All I want is names...

Specifically the names of a certain group of interfering gnats who call themselves "Shadow Chasers". I want these individuals named immidiately and have no intention of carrying on this vendetta against you, who are apparently friendly with their group. If you turn them over, all will be forgiven and you shall not hear from me again.

Do not make this turn unpleasant... For your own sakes.

First, what the hell is a "shadow chaser", and how the hell would we know their names?

Second, What the hell is does "Viceroy of the Night" mean? Is it and elected position? How much does it pay? Can I be Viceroy of the Day? I heard of the Viceroy of the Trade Federation, is that like the same thing?

Third, what the hell is a "Hierophant" anyway?

According to my ways, (hey kids it called check IP!) someone posted from the TampaGB handle. It may not have been them, someone's sharing the same IP and did post from Florida.

If you're not here to start trouble with our group, why not be honest about who you are? If this is a game or you're trying to have fun, apparently we don't know how to play and don't need to.

Their are 28 registered members here, like my friends and colleagues I've never heard of these "shadow chasers" or whomever. I'm almost inclined to do a google search. Almost.

*edit* I changed my mind. From a quick search, Shadow Chasers is two things, a movie from 1985. More importanly for this thread I think, who knows it has something to do with numbers and the paranormal.

Do not make this turn unpleasant... For your own sakes.

Thought we're suppose to be friendly, why make a threatening type of statement. I'll leave this thread open for now.

Well, that one just became known to me. The Tampa GBs, before joining GBI, did freelance stuff under the handle "Shadow Chasers." I think they should know that some insane Yahoo is using the same IP adress that they are...

Third, what the hell is a "Hierophant" anyway?

Well, I guess this one is my area...

A "heirophant" is one who brings the congregants into the presence of that which is deemed holy. The word comes from Greek, where it was constructed from the combination of ta hiera, "the holy," and phainein, "to show." In Attica, it was the title of the chief priest at the Eleusinian Mysteries.

In short, it's a religious title, like the Pope, Dalai Lama, Yogi, or Sanzou.

In Tarot, The Hierophant is one of the twenty-two trump cards comprising the Major Arcana, and represents the guide towards knowledge, insight and wisdom. In a tarot reading it might for example represent a priest, scholar, therapist or teacher.

My guess is that this yahoo is the "Walter Peck" to the Tampa GBs....and my conclusion is that whomever this information seeker is does not do his job very well. Why would someone acting "covert" ask around at someone's place of employment? Kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

...and to Valeck of many pointless titles, no one's turning anyone over, and none of us fear you....especially me. Let this be YOUR last post.

So its the same chaps that make up the Tampa Ghostbusters... Interesting...

I see that you've drawn the line against me, so I now feel no reservations whatsoever about taking down the Tampa Ghostbusters and any who stand in the way of that. And Vincent Belmont... I have heard your name many times in the past... you and your groups are not unknown to my people and perhaps a check of your records will reveal your idiotic oversight as to who WE are... As for my bing the "walter Peck" of this region, I spit at that sad pathetic excuse for a man... I would not waste my time stomping him to the ground for the blood it would smear on my boots. He is a cockroach who should be exterminated...

So until we meet.. this WILL be my last post...

You know coming to our board anouncing your intentions isnt exactly the best villain move. Pissing Belmont off is worse.

This dragqueen has been giving us problems for a couple years now, we've put stakes through the hearts of over 100 of his followers, but we havent been able to get ahold of him for one reason or another. The guy fancies himself one of the last counts of the old vampiric way of life and intends to set himself up as a leader of them all. Up until now, we've been lucky that he only got about 5 or so at a time, but as I've always said, the paranormal activity has been on the rise as of late so its getting me concerned... Shadow Chasers has me working overtime as well lately. We just got a call about a creature called Skunk Ape, which is basically the Bigfoot of the Everglades... God I hate swamp jobs... As for Valeck, We'll deal with him and I apologize for him showing up and bugging you guys with his crap.

You don't know who you're dealing with. This is Ghostbusters International® You've got your work cut out for you.

Its not like you're Gozer, Shandor, Vigo, or even as famous (unfortunately) as Peck. EXCUSE us if we didn't rush to check records.

Smart move, somehow using the same IP that legally belongs to the Tampa GBs. Let's see what those criminal charges will bring you.

Who the hell do you think you are? What makes you think you're so much better then me? I come on here and get berated by the Ghostbusters time and time again. Get the same old tired jokes.

Here you are and the Ghostbusters are tolerating you!? I don't know you, you hardly know me, (never go by that fantasy movie THEY made) and now you made this personal on three fronts.

If I wasn't so pissed off right now, you would be a good candidate to be apart of G.B.I.R.

It is only because of the audacity of Mr. Peck's statement that I return here... I will not be spoken to as one of the small-minded humans that you believe you are so much better than. You are a plague upon this world Walter Peck. I am almost tempted to dispose of YOU before I complete my vendetta against Shadow Chasers... Though I would not waste my time with such things, as an emperor would not take the time to hunt down the cockroach which escaped his boot heal. I assure you Mr. Peck, your time will come too...

Also Mr. Peck... I know you more than you wish to believe... There are things I could say that would shock and embarass you to your very core if I were to speak of them. Oh yes Mr. Peck, things you have done in your past that i know of would make you want to crawl into a hole and rot for the rest of your short pointless life like the vermin you are.

Vince is right, I do hear it! The 'blah blah blah...etc' deal. :)

And Kev gives good advice about staying on Belmont's good side. Having seen the man in action just a few months ago, I have to tell you - there are less painful ways to go about suicide!

All I can say on the situation has already been said better, by one of the great orators of our time:

"Don't sing it, just bring it!"

Though...if you and Peck ever do throw down and you ARE as bad as you think you are: You realize you could charge anyone who wears the No-Ghost on their right arm...say, a good hundred bucks just to let us watch!
